Trade Marketing Manager Global Export Marketing - Dubai, UAE

Job Description

An International company with leadership in many food categories requires a experienced Trade Marketing Manager based in Dubai, UAE.
The key role and responsibilities would be;
 Formulation & & Implementation of Trade Marketing Strategies in line with Company Objectives & Categories KPIs.
 Develop portfolio of trade strategy and trade channels plans.
 Manage NPD initiatives.
 Ensure timely & quality implementation of trade plans by covering trade Marketing activation.
 Managing promotional Calendar, Category Merchandising Guidelines, Activation Initiatives
 Guiding and monitoring the execution.
 Evaluating activities & Continuously analyzes key factors.
 Addressing performance issues & recommending solution.
 Coordination with all involved Functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Distributors,Supply Chain) to secure successful implementation of the trade initiatives.
 Monitor competitive activities & propose innovative ideas for activation
 Supporting Sales business Development managers by channel through trade business reviews and relevant negotiations. Eexecute visibility projects; enhance general visibilities and assessing impact on business.
 Develop relevant Trade and selling tools & Planograms.
 This function may require travel from time to time.


Qualifications: Preferably MBA or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing.

Minimum Experience: 5-7 years of functional experience out of which min 2 years should be equivalent to middle Management position.

Relevant experience: min. 2 - 3 years of trade marketing / Sales managerial role in FMCG sector (ideally food industry).

Functional Knowledge:
• Project Management skills.
• Knowledge of concerned products in the categories.
• Extensive Trade marketing Knowledge.

Trade relations and contacts. :
• Working knowledge of Marketing.
• Understanding of financial measures incl. P&L and NWC management. ROI mindset
• Understanding of the regional and global markets
• PC Literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
